The Alden Community Museum’s 40th anniversary celebration will be a great opportunity for in Alden and the surrounding communities.

The museum will have special displays which will include teddy bears from the collection of Alden’s Teddy Bear LadyLois. There will be items on loan from Hemmingsen’s Transfer, The Alden Advance, Gerry’s Barber Shop and Alden Shoe Store. The older business items that are museum pieces including items from Ebert’s and others, will also be on display.

The celebration will be a three week event from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26.
