The Albert Lea Exchange Club recently honored the late Harald Petersen, Marie Petersen and Annette Petersen with its 2012 Book of Golden Deeds Award. This award recognizes dedicated volunteers who give endless hours of their time and talents towards making their communities and the world a better place to live. Their work with the vocational school that Harald and Marie established in Accompong, Jamaica, in 1989 and the Blossom Gardens Orphanage in Montego Bay has led to many mission trips from our area to help people in Jamaica.
