MINNEAPOLIS — The family of a high school student paralyzed after being hit in a hockey game says he has crawled with the help of therapists.
Jack Jablonski’s family posted video from last week’s session on his CaringBridge website. They say he crawled with the help of three therapists at a rehabilitation center in Golden Valley. Jack’s mother, Leslie, wrote that her son moved his legs and crawled three times back and forth on a mat.
Jack, a student at Benilde St. Margaret’s in St. Louis Park, was paralyzed in late December during a junior varsity hockey game. Doctors said he wouldn’t walk again.
In late May, Jack told Twitter followers he had slightly moved his left leg, ankle and finger.
