The Albert Lea Knights traveling baseball club will hold tryouts Saturday and Sunday at Snyder Fields for the 2013 season.

The schedule is as follows.

Saturday’s tryouts will take place at field No. 2. Tryouts for 8 and 9-year-olds will be from 9 to 10 a.m., tryouts for 10-year-olds will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and tryouts for 11-year-olds will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Sunday’s tryouts will also take place at field No. 2. Tryouts for 12-year-olds will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. and 13 and 14-year-olds will have tryouts from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

A makeup tryout session will be held on Aug. 25 at field No. 2 for all ages from 8 to 9 a.m. Scrimmages will be also be held for 11-and 12-year-olds from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. and 13-and 14-year-olds from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Registration for each group begins a half hour before the scheduled time.

Players must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and meet the age requirement as of May 1, 2013.

A $25 fee will be collected at tryouts. It will be applied toward player fees for those who make the team and returned to those who do not.
