As we are moving into the last weeks before the elections, I have been reading many letters about Rep. Rich Murray. I went to the Internet to review his record and was impressed by the ways which the bills he has sponsored consistently reflect his concern and understanding of the needs for job creation and growing our economy here in Minnesota and specifically here in southern Minnesota.
It is clear that he is committed to job growth in our area and the state as a whole. He has authored four bills which relate specifically to the health and quality of life here in Albert Lea. He continues strong support for the Shell Rock River Watershed District.
As a small business owner himself, Rep. Murray knows from experience the personal sacrifice which a small business owner and the owner’s family make to provide jobs and services in the community. We are, indeed, fortunate that he has taken his experience and knowledge to the Legislature to work for us. His commitment to creating a business friendly climate is evident when reviewing the bills he has sponsored.
He has been a tireless representative for our district. The columns which he has written for the Tribune have been clear and concise. He carefully lays out the situations and explains his positions. He has kept us fully informed and is willing to talk with any of his constituents if we have a question or concern.
I encourage everyone to visit Rep. Murray’s Minnesota State Legislature record on the Internet. It will illustrate that he is involved and knowledgeable. He will put his experience to work for us for two more years. He is the real choice to be our representative in the Minnesota House District 27A.
