I have known Ron Steckman for almost 30 years. I served on the board of directors of Freeborn Mower Cooperative Services for much of the time he was its president/ CEO. Ron is the most knowledgeable and hard-working person I know. He has an exceptional  understanding  of business and finances.

His leadership contributed a lot to the exceptional financial position of the cooperative.  He was a innovator for the local, state and national cooperative electrical industry. Ron is highly respected by his peers and would contribute a great deal of skill and experience to the Freeborn County Board of Commissioners.
