Lindsey Horejsi set two pool records as the Albert Lea girls’ swim team made its way to a 97-87 win over Austin on Tuesday night.

The home meet was the season opener for the Tigers.

In the 200-meter individual medley, Horejsi, a freshman, swam a time of 2 minutes, 12.34 seconds. In the 100-meter freestyle, she finished in 53.29 seconds.

Albert Lea had eight first-place finishes in the meet.

The Tigers will be back in the water Thursday in Owatonna. The meet is set to begin at 6 p.m.
