It appears to me, after attending the Aug. 29 streetscape design steering committee meeting, that there are differing opinions regarding the design concepts for Broadway Avenue.

I am an Albert Lea citizen, but am not downtown business owner. I am originally from Austin and continue my employment there. I have seen firsthand what a fiasco it was with the downtown bumpouts! I am opposed to the bumpouts proposed for Broadway Avenue. I think it is important for all interested citizens to contact their ward councilors and let them know your opinions on the proposed changes to downtown.
