Chamber Orchestra invites musicians to participate

The Southeastern Minnesota Chamber Orchestra is now underway in preparation for the 2012 to 2013 season, which will feature four concerts. The first concert is at 7 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Albert Lea High School auditorium and will feature music from the movies, stage and radio. Diane Heaney will join the orchestra. The SEMNCO is now in its third season. Rehearsals are each Sunday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Albert Lea High School. Any musician, high school age or older, is invited to participate. The positions open are: oboe II, bass clarinet, bassoon II, horn III and IV, trumpet III, tuba, percussion, violin I, violin II, viola, cello and bass.
