The project is expected to be complete mid-October, weather permitting.

When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer highway, according to MnDOT.

MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
