The Retired Educators of Freeborn County will hold its fall meeting at Americas Best Value Inn at noon on Thursday. Rosalie Truax, co-president of ACT, will give highlights of the coming season at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center, which includes an ambitious program of local presentations and a new feature, the live streaming of 12 operas from the Metropolitan Opera in New York.

Newly retired educators will be welcomed into a group that exists to provide information and social connections important to retirees – pensions, health and safety.
