The 21st annual Third Grade Farm Tours will be held on Sept. 19 and 20.  This event is sponsored by the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce Agricultural Committee, and its committed corporate sponsors and friends.

Scheduled visits are as follows:

•Sept. 19: Students from the United South Central, Glenville-Emmons, Alden-Conger and Albert Lea schools of Hawthorne and Sibley elementaries will visit the farms.

• Sept 20: Students from the Albert Lea schools of Halverson, Lakeview and  St. Theodore Catholic School, New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva will tour the farms.

Student will visit Larry Reynen’s potato farm, Gary Braaten’s hog farm and John Miller’s dairy farm.
