Christensen said Stahl loved Ford Mustangs, and she encouraged Mustang owners to participate. She said while Stahl never had his own Mustang, he loved to borrow his father’s.

Signup for the cruise will begin at 10 a.m. Oct. 27 at The Bend in the Road in Manchester. Cost is $10 per person in the cruise.

The event will start at 11 a.m. at the bar. Participants are slated to make stops at TB3’s in Freeborn, Geneva Bar & Grill in Geneva and The Pour House in Clarks Grove before driving back to The Bend in the Road.

At The Bend in the Road will be a meal, sponsored by the bar, and then an auction with everything from Harley-Davidson items to artwork and gift certificates.

Christensen said all money raised will go to support building a memorial in his memory in Alden. Any extra funds will go to support the Keep a Breast Foundation.

Christensen said she and the other organizers hope to make the cruise an annual event.

At each stop along the way, people are encouraged to remember Stahl and speak of memories with him.
