Freeway fire

A Ford Taurus station wagon started on fire around 2 p.m. Saturday, and the Albert Lea Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire around 2 p.m. Saturday. The car was on eastbound Interstate 90 about a quarter of a mile west of Interstate 35. The fire spread to nearby grass, which was also extinguished. -- Scott Schmeltzer/Albert Lea Tribune
