Sandra Esch, author of a trilogy of novels based in Albert Lea, will visit Nelson’s Market Place from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday to sign books.

Esch will also visit Book World in Mason City on Nov. 13 and Barnes and Noble in Mankato on Sunday for book signings.

The second book in the Amber Leaf trilogy is titled “Somewhere Between Raindrops” The first book in the trilogy, “Tracks in the Snow,” has won several awards.

Esch was born and raised in southern Minnesota and now lives in southern California. She last visited Albert Lea in December for a book signing of “Tracks in the Snow.”

The trilogy, defined as historical romance, follows a young woman in the early 1940s who lives in Amber Leaf, which is based on Albert Lea.
