Q: What year are you in school?

A: Junior

 

Q: What school do you attend?

A: Albert Lea

 

Q: Who is your immediate family?

A: Mom, Amy; dad, Kelvin; sister, Rachel

 

Q: What sports are you involved in?

A: Volleyball, basketball and track (multiple events)

 

Q: How did you get started in volleyball?

A: My parents both played.

 

Q: How did you get started in basketball?

A: I started playing in fourth grade and also played in the YMCA leagues when I was younger.

 

Q: How did you get started in track?

A: I started track in seventh grade. I like to run, and it keeps me in shape for my other sports.

 

What numbers are you?

A: No. 8 in volleyball; No. 25 in basketball.

 

Q: What other extracurricular activities are you in? 

A: Concert band, jazz band and marching band

 

Q: Did your parents play sports when they were younger? 

A: My dad played football, basketball, baseball and track. He played volleyball after high school. Mom played volleyball, was a cheerleader and was in dance.

 

Q: Do you have siblings that play or have played any sports?

A: My sister plays soccer and basketball.

 

Q: What are your sports related achievement(s)? 

A: My best was when we beat Byron in basketball at the buzzer. I made the buzzer-beater shot, and I scored 28 points that game.

 

Q: What is your sports related goal?

A: To play basketball in college.

 

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete? Why? 

A: Ben Woodside. He is from Albert Lea, he has a good work ethic, and he is so inspiring.

 

Q: What is your favorite school subject? 

A: Math. I like working with numbers.

 

Q: Who is your favorite teacher? 

A: I have three; Kevin Gentz, Jim Haney and Gayle Brownlow.

 

Q: What are your hobbies? 

A: I like to hang out with family and friends. I like playing my trumpet, and I just like to stay active.

 

Q: What is your dream job?

A: Anesthesiologist.

 

Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show? 

A: Movie, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and TV show, Bones.

 

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Special K bars.

 

Q: What is an interesting fact about you?

A: I like to play ping pong.
