Albert Lea police arrested John Allen Marquard, 27, for second-degree driving while intoxicated at the intersection of South Newton Avenue and East Fifth Street at 12:17 a.m. Friday after receiving a report of a van driving through yards and hitting something.

Police arrested Arnoldo Acevedo Pina, 62, for third-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 10 p.m. Friday at 122 Bridge Ave., according to reports.

 

Authorities bust underage drinking parties

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited three people for underage drinking and one person for a social host violation on Friday night in Emmons.

According to reports, Kari Ilene Bublitz, 20, Trevor Alan Larson, 19, Dylan James Kroupa, 19, were cited for underage drinking, and Kayleb Lee Kezar, 21, was arrested for social host violation.

In a separate incident, Alexander Golbuff and three juveniles were cited for underage drinking at 9:54 p.m. Saturday at 11011 Autumn St. in Albert Lea, according to police.

 

Theft reported

Employee theft was reported at Home Depot, 2400 Consul St., in Albert Lea, at 2:19 p.m. Friday, according to Albert Lea police.
