American Bank and AmeriNational Community Services employees delivered handmade fleece blankets and smiles to local nonprofit organizations to spread some holiday cheer.

The staff at the Alden branch donated blankets to Spirit of Christmas, a charitable organization in Alden that distributes clothing, food and toys to families in the Alden-Conger School District. The staff at the Albert Lea branch donated blankets to the Salvation Army.

Employees purchased material and held a blanket-making party.

“Our team really enjoys working together on project that support the community,” said Amber Bellrichard, teller at the Albert Lea branch.
