Krista Ann Rowand, 24, was arrested on a local warrant at 12:01 a.m. today at 1210 E. Main St., according to Albert Lea police. The warrant was for possession of methamphetamine.

 

Garage broken into

A garage was broken into and subwoofers stolen at 2332 Clayton Ave. in Albert Lea. The incident was reported to the Albert Lea Police Department at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday.

 

Cows reported loose

Numerous cows loose on Highway 65 near 170th Street were reported at 6 a.m. Tuesday. One cow was hit and appeared to have a broken leg. Albert Lea Township and Glenville fire departments responded to help round up the cattle.

 

Hit and run reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported to Albert Lea police at 12:25 p.m. Tuesday at 309 Fenton Ave.

 

Several crashes reported

A handful of crashes occurred mid-day Tuesday in Albert Lea. None had injuries. It is unclear whether the crashes were related to the few inches of snow that fell at that time.
