The patient call light system allows patients to contact staff for help by the push of a button. This new system will replace the current call light system which is more than 15 years old and at the end of warranty support. The new system will also provide tracking information for process improvement by running reports that show how long it takes to answer a patient’s call.

“The board of trustees supports this project because so many will be impacted: patients, families, nurses and providers,” Dave Bonnerup, development officer, said. “Everyone will benefit from this updated system.”
