Sara Ferris of Steamboat Springs, Colo., and Cole Tlamka of Big Sky, Mont., announce their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Bill and Linda Ferris of Boulder, Colo. Grandparent is Fern Horton of Pipestone.
The groom is the son of Larry and Julie Tlamka and Brent and Julie Jensen of Albert Lea. Grandparents are Daniel and Gloria Bolhuis of Glenville, Bob Belshan of Austin, Jim and Arlene Jensen of Albert Lea and Karen Johnson of Albert Lea.
The bride has attended Lehigh University and Otago University in New Zealand. She is employed at the Steamboat Springs chamber.
The groom has attended St. Cloud State and is employed at Routt County Hydroponics.
A wedding is planned for 6 p.m. May 2 in Sayulita, Mexico. A reception will follow at Don Pedros Palapa in Sayulita. Another reception will be held in Minnesota in the summer of 2013.
