Gerald died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at St. John’s Lutheran Home.

Gerald “Juice” Jarman was born Feb. 27, 1952, the son of LaVerne and Mildred (Hanson) Jarman in St. Louis, Mo. Juice and his mother moved to Albert Lea in 1956 to be near family. He graduated from Albert Lea High School and continued his education as a master electrician. He worked for May Engineering and Streater until his retirement. Juice was well known about town for being the Jolly Man wearing his bib overalls and with the big bushy beard. He had many fields of interest including his love for photography. Juice enjoyed cross country hiking in the many trails in the area and taking pictures of the wildlife and outdoor scenery. He helped co-found the Albert Lea Photography Club. He was an avid drummer and performed in the Albert Lea Community Theater. He loved to ride his Harleys and would go on many rides to the “River.” He was a life member of the Albert Lea Hog Chapter. He enjoyed his dogs, Zek and Sheila and his cats. Juice could also be seen as captain of the Pelican Breeze. Juice was a man of many interests and talents. He will be greatly missed by all his friends that he met on this journey of life. God bless his memory, and ride on Juice.
