A man was reportedly injured Wednesday evening after a car he was working on fell on his hand.

According to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, the man was changing a tire on a Ford Escort at 22356 770th Ave. when the car jack fell and his hand got caught between the rotor of the car and the ground.

A deputy and a firefighter were able to lift the car up enough for the man to pull his hand out. He was treated by Gold Cross ambulance crews, and it is unclear if he was transported to the hospital.
