Several senior vocalists from Albert Lea High School will perform a recital of solos and ensembles for the public at 2 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. This year’s senior class has participated in many extracurricular choir activities including All-State choir, chorale, caroliers and show choir. They have also participated in choral festivals including St. Olaf, Dorian at Luther College, Wartburg Choral Festival, ACDA Men and Women’s Choral Festival and the Choral Arts Finale. They have traveled to England, Scotland and New York City. The seniors will perform a varied repertoire of music from popular to contest classical solos. Those singing will be Kristin Sandager, Megan Gilbertson, Elissa Brown, Lani Hanson, Cierra Maras, Gretta Johnson, Karli Kriewall, Abby Pleiss, Nick Walther, Jacob Kunkel, Marleny Huerta-Apanco, Kyle Zogg, Lindsey Stewart, Katie Williamson, Derek Burkard, Tate Tufte, Andrew Kozelsky and Ryan McLaughlin. The public is invited to attend free of charge. Refreshments will be served following the recital.
