Overhead Door Co. receives specialized certifications

Fire doors are specifically designed to protect property and minimize damage resulting from accidental fires. This essential safety feature, when properly installed and maintained, not only reduces financial loss in the event of a fire emergency, it also protects lives.
IDEA is a nonprofit educational foundation established to serve the needs of the general public through effective professional development with the automated access systems industry, also known as the door and access systems industry.
“We hold our employees to the highest standard possible when it comes to safety and expertise in their field,” said Ron Nelson, vice-president of Overhead Door Co. of Albert Lea. “A door installer has to have a minimum of two years of experience before they can even apply for this certification. This is a specialized certification and we are proud of these employees for demonstrating this level of skill and expertise.”
