Michael and Deborah Sturm of Farmington and Mark and Lori Froehling of Farmington announce the engagement of their children, Shelly Sturm and Benjamin Froehling.

The bride’s grandparent is Grace Flowers of Albert Lea.

The groom’s grandparents are Louis and Arvella Henderson of Albert Lea and Eldred and Leila Froehling of Watkins.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Farmington High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in early childhood education. She is employed as a third-grade teacher at Kenyon-Wanamingo School District.

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Farmington High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a degree in chemistry education. He is employed as a ninth- and 11th-grade chemistry and physical science teacher at Wayzata High School.

A July 13, 2013, wedding is planned at Evergreen Church in Lakeville.
