The Lake Mills baseball team earned its 10th victory of the season and its fourth win in a row Monday by beating North Iowa 1-0.

Taylor Throne led the Bulldogs from the mound. He pitched 6 1/3 innings, struck out three batters and allowed three hits and three walks.

Matt Throne knocked in the game’s only run in the third inning. Josh Peters, Paul Pins and Christian Rank each had one hit.

Lake Mills began the season with a 6-2 record. After a stretch where the Bulldogs were 0-3 against Osage, Nevada and Waverly-Shell Rock, Lake Mills rebounded with four straight wins.

Next, the Bulldogs play at Garner-Hayfield at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
