Summer food service program has 3 sites in A.L.

There will be three places in Albert Lea that will participate in the Summer Food Service program through the Minnesota Department of Education Food and Nutrition Service.
The lunch meals will be provided free of charge to all eligible children. An eligible child is any child ages 3 to 18 living in Freeborn County.
Meals will be provided at the Salvation Army meal site tent, 217 W. College St., Albert Lea, beginning Monday and running through Aug. 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Meals will be provided at Youth For Christ’s The Rock, 116 W. Clark St., Albert Lea, beginning Wednesday through Aug. 30 from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.
The third place meals will be provided is at Sondergaard Park, 806 17th St., Albert Lea, beginning Monday and running through Aug. 30 from noon to 1 p.m.
