Wolves to play in Mexico City

MINNEAPOLIS — For the first time in franchise history, the Minnesota Timberwolves will play a regular-season game in Mexico City when they take on San Antonio as part of the expanded NBA Global Game schedule, according to a press release.
The Wolves will play the Spurs on Dec. 4 at the Mexico City Arena. Minnesota will be the home team. The game is part of a comprehensive 2013-14 NBA Global Games schedule that includes 12 NBA teams.
