Veteran Heritage Day was held last month in St. Ansgar, Iowa, and included attendees from the Iowa communities Waverly, Osage, Grafton, Mason City, Northwood, Alta Vista, New Hampton, Stacyville, Lake Mills, Manly and St. Ansgar. Also, they came from the Minnesota cities of Albert Lea, Austin and Le Roy and from Fremont, Neb. Veterans were present from World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
