Girl Scouts from Freeborn County participated in a one-day Outdoors Adventures Day Camp at Myre-Big Island State Park on June 26. The theme was England. Keeping with the theme, Scouts sang songs, made crafts and prepared a meal over the fire. The menu consisted of corned beef chuck-in stew, box oven cheese bread and armpit fudge for dessert.
