Kids helping kids

Local teens have created an organization called Operation Kaleidoscope Kids. Their goal is to bring happiness to children in hospitals by purchasing toys and other amenities. The group has been raising money in order to complete this goal. One fundraiser is an organized road race. The fun run will take place in Wells at Half Moon Park on July 27. The race begins at 9 a.m. and the one-mile walk/run will start at 9:30 a.m. Online registration is available at www.regonline.com/okk. --Submitted
