Summer garden party planned

The United Methodist Women are hosting a summer garden party at Albert Lean Carol Hegel Lang’s home from 1 to 3 p.m. July 20. Lang’s home is at 806 Lincoln Ave., and following the tour guests are invited for coffee and strawberry shortcake at the United Methodist Church, off of  U.S. Highway 69 in Albert Lea. The event is a fundraiser for missions, and donations will be accepted. Lang’s Serendipity Gardens was certified as a wildlife habitat garden by the National Wildlife Foundation. --Submitted
