Cruise to the Cove

Six owners of classic cars parked outside of Wedgewood Cove Golf Club on Friday to publicize Cruise to the Cove, an event slated for 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. From left are Jon Paske of Albert Lea with a 1934 Ford Coupe, James Love of Albert Lea with a 1940 Ford Coupe, Gene Flaskerud of Hayward with a 1933 Chevrolet, Bob Olson of Albert Lea with a 1932 Ford Roadster, Gene Hansen of Albert Lea with a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner convertible and Don Blake of Albert Lea with a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe. Blake said the gathering is open to owners of classic cars and specialty vehicles, as well as fans of automobiles. There will be 1950s and ’60s music by Megaforce. Cruise to the Cove is hosted by The Old Car Company of Southern Minnesota.
