Man arrested for meth possession

Albert Lea police arrested Mark Allen Kuiper, 33, for fifth-degree meth possession, driving after suspension and failure to provide insurance after a traffic stop at 6:26 p.m. Wednesday at 2102 E. Main St.

 

Man cited after crash with squad car

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Jose Rodrigo Solis-Trejo for inattentive driving after he reportedly pulled his vehicle out in front of an Albert Lea police squad car near the intersection of Martin Road and Lakeview Boulevard at 4:09 p.m. Wednesday, according to reports. The squad car didn’t have time to stop before hitting the vehicle. No one was injured.

 

Window broken

A window was reported broken out at 101 S. Broadway at 6:08 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.
