Charlotte (Flugum) Stone, a 1964 graduate of Albert Lea High School, has written a book titled “Semi Serious: An Unexpected Journey to a Deeper Faith” about her adventures as an over the road truck drive.

In the book, Stone recounts the sudden change in direction that her life took from teaching middle school to getting behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler. She first discusses what it took to become a truck driver and incorporates Bible verses and personal poems throughout the book. Further into the book she writes about the freedom and adventure of an open road.
