Barbara D. Hagen, 65, of Wells, died on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at United Methodist Church in Wells. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at United Methodist Church. The Rev. Paul Woolverton will officiate. Please see www.brussheitner.com to leave online condolences. Barbara Hagen was born on March 8, 1948, the daughter of Wilbert and Berdine (Gimberline) Drager in Albert Lea. She graduated from Wells-Easton High School in 1966. On Aug. 11, 1973, Barbara was united in marriage to Thomas Dean Hagen at United Methodist Church in Wells. She worked at Con-Agra for more than 35 years, and was currently employed at Select Foods. Barbara was a union steward. She enjoyed camping, gambling, traveling, reading, computer games, bingo, cooler weather and Coca-Cola. Barbara was an independent woman with a great sense of humor, and she always enjoyed a good argument.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 40 years, Thomas Dean; her mother, Berdine; two daughters, Renae Hagen and Cindy (Heath Ellison) Hagen; aunt, Toni Gimberline; and many cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; father, Wilbert; parents-in-law, Oscar and Helen Hagen; and cousins Dale and Joan Gimberline.
