Visitation for Timothy J. Martin, 47, of Minneapolis and formerly of Clarks Grove, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. There will be a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Online condolences are welcome at www.bayviewfuneral.com.

Tim died on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at Redeemer Health and Rehab in Minneapolis.

Timothy James Martin was born on March 9, 1966, in South St. Paul. He was the son of the late James and Diane (Coon) Martin. He grew up in the Clarks Grove area. Tim was baptized and confirmed at Central Freeborn Lutheran Church. He graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1984. Tim lived in various places throughout his life, but he always enjoyed coming home to visit the farm. He had fond memories of the time he spent growing up there, of his grandparents, and of his niece and nephew whom he adored. Tim liked nothing better than to lay down with a good book. He also enjoyed movies, cats, flowers and cooking.

Survivors include his brother, Joel (Susan) Martin of Clarks Grove; niece, Madison Martin; nephew, Josh Martin; and step-nephews Justin, Nicholas and Joshua Beatty.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents.
