BROWERVILLE — An explosion on the roof of a Land O’Lakes facility in Browerville caused a fire that left one firefighter with minor burns.

The explosion was Thursday afternoon. The Todd County Sheriff’s Office said flames from the blast spread to other equipment on the roof.

Browerville firefighters were assisted by neighboring departments, and remained on the scene until around midnight. One Browerville firefighter was slightly burned and taken to a hospital in Long Prairie for treatment.

There was no immediate work on what caused the explosion.
