BEMIDJI — A snowmobile driver is dead after a weekend crash in northern Minnesota.

The Bemidji Police Department said 23-year-old Seth Ryan of Bemidji died after colliding with a mailbox and several trees.

The crash was reported Saturday afternoon on the east side of Lake Bemidji, within the Bemidji city limits.

Ryan apparently was riding alone. He died at the scene.
