Vivian Rose Schroeder, 87, of Brainerd and formerly of Deerwood and Albert Lea, died on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. She was born on March 17, 1926, to Harry and Rose (Rebelein) Fink. She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood.

Survivors include her two daughters Jacqueline (Leroy) Elyea of Brainerd and Joyce (Darell) Johnson of Inver Grove Heights; two sisters Ilene Horning and Violet Patterson; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, John; and son, David Schroeder.

No services are being held. Internment will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Albert Lea at 1 p.m. Saturday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
