2 scholarships available

Normanna Lodge 52 of the Sons of Norway is offering two $2,000 scholarships to students, one per person, with a 3.5 grade point average on a scale of 4.0 who have completed at least two years of college and intend to enroll in a program that leads to a concentration in Norwegian studies. Norwegian studies include arts, crafts, history, international studies, language, literature, music, politics, folklore, mythology, women, etc. The money will be paid to the recipient’s college after a statement is received from the college indicating enrollment in a Norwegian studies program.
The student has no obligation to Normanna Lodge following the acceptance of the scholarship.
Applications may be requested by sending a letter to Secretary, Normanna Lodge 52, Sons of Norway, PO Box 875, Albert Lea, MN 56007.
Applications should be postmarked by March 15. Applicants should request their college to send a transcript of credits to the above address also postmarked by March 15.
The money used for the scholarships has been given by Shirley Bartholomew, Bertha Weiks and other members and friends of Normanna Lodge.
