An LP vaporizer malfunctioned at Albert Lea Select Foods, 2410 Y.H. Hanson Ave., at 1:31 a.m. today.

According to Albert Lea Fire Department reports, a gas leak started a fire in the back of the building near the shipping docks. Employees shut down the system, and there was no fire when firefighters arrived.
