Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Kathleen Emily Thorson for third-degree driving while intoxicated after receiving a report of a car driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 at 8:35 p.m. Monday.

 

Items stolen

Property was reported stolen from a vehicle at 22175 736th Ave., Albert Lea, at 7:54 a.m. Monday.

About $175 in items were reported stolen out of a motor vehicle at 1106 Rosehill Drive sometime during the past two weeks. The incident was reported at 5:20 p.m. Sunday.

 

Garbage dumped on property

A load of garbage was reported dumped in the ditch at 19273 640th Ave., Alden, at 1:02 p.m. Monday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Mailbox damaged

A mailbox at 7465 740th Ave., Albert Lea, was reported damaged at 11:26 a.m. Monday.

 

Hit-and-run crashes reported

A red Honda Accord was reported damaged at 806 Troy Road at 4:44 p.m. Monday. The car’s owner believed it had been hit by a snowplow. Damage was estimated at $2,000.

A hit-and-run crash was reported near the intersection of Sixth Street and Frank Avenue at 4:02 p.m. Monday.

A hit-and-run crash was reported at the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and Johnson Street at 2:44 p.m. Sunday. A car was reportedly sideswiped by a red pickup with a plow on the front.

A Toyota pickup was reported hit while parked on the street at 310 Lakeview Boulevard at 3:31 p.m. Saturday.

 

Man arrested for marijuana

Albert Lea police cited Dustin Ray Lee for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 1:49 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Frank Avenue and Front Street.

 

Man arrested for domestic assault

Albert Lea police arrested Brady John Larson for domestic assault, obstructing justice and a probation violation at 9:57 p.m. Saturday at 213 E. College St.
