The Fountain Lake Sportsmen’s Club has partnered with the city of Albert Lea, the Lakes Foundation, the Albert Lea Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to create a multi-use marina along Bridge Avenue in Albert Lea. This dock and access will be manufactured by Minncor and will provide fishing access and temporary dock space for boats and personal water crafts needing access to the local area and businesses. This marina will be Americans with Disabilities Act-accessible and will include a safe crosswalk for Bridge Avenue.

The total cost of this project is yet to be determined based on matching grants and the Fountain Lake Sportsmen’s Club has already collected $6,000 toward the project. The Fountain Lake Sportsmen’s Club will be accepting contributions towards this project. With your help, it can become a reality.
