2 arrested for DWI
Freeborn County sheriff’s deputies arrested Stephen Gatpan Keer, 53, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 2:11 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and 19th Street.
Albert Lea police arrested Esteban Madrigal, 61, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and allowing an open bottle of alcohol after a traffic stop at 1:42 a.m. Sunday at 920 W. Front St. Joseph Jesse Madrigal, 50, was cited for open bottle.
Outbuilding broken into
An outbuilding at 62400 250th St., northwest of Alden, was reported broken into at 11:30 a.m. Monday.
Hit-and-run reported
Albert Lea police received a report of a hit-and-run crash at 1:05 p.m. Saturday. The owner parked the vehicle at Albert Lea High School and Jake’s Pizza the day before.
2 cited for shoplifting
Albert Lea police cited Andrew Scott Nicholson, 18, for misdemeanor theft at 2:05 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
Police cited Abby Lee Tripp, 32, for theft at 8:36 p.m. Saturday at 2708 Bridge Ave.
Items stolen
A key out of a vehicle was reported stolen at 9:45 a.m. Monday at 1330 Dunham St.
A Playstation and TV set were reported stolen at 11:03 p.m. Monday from 1224 St. Joseph Ave.
Man arrested for disorderly conduct, assault
Freeborn County sheriff’s deputies arrested Getachew Tilahun Adigeh of St. Paul for disorderly conduct and fourth-degree assault at 10:09 p.m. Friday at the Freeborn County Courthouse.
Damage reported
Glass was reported broken out at 205 Second St. S.E. in Clarks Grove at 8:27 a.m. Monday.
A display case was reported damaged at 4:29 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
