SARTELL — A suspect has been arrested in the shooting death of a 20-year-old outside a strip mall in Sartell.

The victim was reportedly found shot in the chest around noon Thursday after police responded to a call at a Sprint Store.

In a news release, Sartell Police Chief Jim Hughes said officers arrested the male suspect about three hours later and took him to the Stearns County Jail. No charges have been officially filed.

The victim died late Thursday evening at a St. Cloud hospital. His name has not been released because all of his relatives have not yet been notified.
