March 29 is dedicated as Vietnam Day in Minnesota. To commemorate this, David Olson, the Albert Lea American Legion chaplain, will set up a photo display recognizing Vietnam-era veterans from this area. The display will be set up at the Albert Lea American Legion Post 56 during its pancake breakfast on Sunday.

The display will again be set up during the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 447 pancake breakfast at American Legion Post 56 on March 30.

David put a lot of time and hard work into this display. Please feel free to come see it and enjoy a good breakfast. You’ll be surprised to see how many people from this area served during that era. Thank you.
