Stray bullets injure 2 in separate Minneapolis shootings

MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police say two people have been injured by stray bullets in separate shooting incidents.

In the first incident, a woman’s arm was grazed by a stray bullet as she slept in an upstairs bedroom Sunday about 2:30 a.m.

Reports say her injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening. She declined to be taken to a hospital.

About 12:30 p.m. a bullet shot through the window of another Minneapolis house. Police spokesman John Elder said that a person inside was injured by either the bullet or flying glass. That person also declined medical attention.

Elder said no arrests have been made in either case.
