Bill Lehman, secretary and treasurer for the International Association of Firefighters Local 1041 Albert Lea Professional Firefighters, accepts a donation from Jody Adams and the Maple Island Park Association. The donation will help fund the firefighters’ 1st Grade Fire Education Program. The full-time firefighters of the Albert Lea Fire and Rescue Department go to all the first-grade classrooms in District 241 every May to teach students about fire safety. – Submitted
